HAIR CARE TIPS

IMPORTANT NOTES
The most important thing to remember about your hair extensions is to treat them like your natural real hair. Please keep in mind do not under or over wash your hair. 1-2 times a week is fine. Always comb gently with a wide-toothed comb or good wig brush. These are fit for hairstyles such as straight virgin hair, body wave virgin hair, deep wave virgin hair, loose wave virgin hair. When combing/brushing start from the bottom and work your way to the top (gently) preferably while the hair is wet for the curlier texture. Use hands to prevent tangling for wavy or curly hair when dry.

PRE-CONDITION
Our hair bundles do not have a bad smell. However, it is optional and strongly recommended to pre-condition hair before installation so that the hair is softer. To do this, simply rinse your hair with your preferred conditioner. (OGX Brazilian keratin therapy in the brown bottle or any ORG conditioner is highly recommended). When you rinse out the conditioner; rinse until there are no suds left with cool water. Rinsing the conditioner out is one of the most important steps. If you do not rinse it well, any residue or traces of product left in the hair will result in stiff and dull hair.

WASHING TIPS
A. Before washing, you need to comb human virgin hair from ends to the top, hold it by another hand, comb virgin hair gently.
B. After making sure your hair is tangle free, then lather and wash it in warm water with high-quality shampoo 1-2 times. (OGX Brazilian Keratin Therapy in the brown bottle is highly recommended).
C. Later, condition hair leaving it in for at least 15 minutes and comb the hair with a wide tooth comb to get rid of the dirt and tangles. Keep in mind the longer you leave conditioner in, the softer the hair will be. Rinse thoroughly with cool water. (OGX Brazilian Keratin Therapy in the brown bottle is highly recommended)
D. After the hair is cleaned, please towel/air dry.
E. Do not use flat iron or dryer to dry hair if you are not in a hurry. Let it dry naturally in order to prolong its lifetime.

THINGS TO AVOID
A. If possible, do not cut your wefts. Doing so may cause shedding and thinning of your hair extensions.
B. Do not sew through your wefts. Doing this will cause the construction of your hair weft(s) to weaken, while also causing shedding and thinning of your hair extensions.
C. If possible do not blow dry your hair always let it air dry. Blow drying has the possibility of ruining your hair extensions.
D. Do not use box dyes. Only use professional consulting for adding any coloring or other chemicals to your extensions.

CARING FOR STRAIGHT TEXTURE
We strongly recommend to at least comb your hair in the morning before you start your day and at night before going to bed. Do not sleep in wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte hair and makes it very difficult to keep the hair the way you want it. If possible try to wash hair earlier in the day to make sure it’s dry by bedtime. Always wrap your hair up before bed to avoid tangles and to protect the wrath of your hair. Hair can be straightened and hand curled. Keep in mind the more heat you use the more damage you can cause.

CARING FOR WAVY OR CURLY HAIR
It is mandatory that you apply a curl defining/curl control cream while the hair is wet (Mixed chicks products is highly recommended). You would need to wet hair, use a leave-in conditioner or curl control creme and braid hair in a few big braids overnight before bed. Don’t forget to wrap it as well. This will stop the hair from frizzing, getting really big & fuzzy. It would also lock in the wave or curl in the hair. It will give the hair a nice, soft and tamed wet look while it’s dry. Your hair should be dry and ready for style by the next morning. Hair can be curled using water, be straightened and be hand curled. Keep in mind the more heat you use the harder it’s going be more difficult to retract hair back its natural curl or wave pattern.
